The invoice went out while
you were under the sink.

The quote, the tax invoice, the proof of payment and the reminder — one book, in English or Afrikaans.

No card fees. Your money still lands in your own bank.

The Torin dashboard: what is owed, what is overdue, this month's figures

90 seconds, recorded in the demo book — twelve months of a real plumbing business.

This is what leaves the app.

Not a screenshot of a template. A quote the customer can approve, a tax invoice with the VAT split and your bank details, and a receipt that closes the loop — all from the same job, for the same money.

One job. One number. From quote to receipt.

The quote is in a WhatsApp thread. The invoice is last year's spreadsheet. The proof of payment is in your camera roll. Three chapters, one book.

01

Quote it before you start

A quote with your logo, your terms and a validity date. The customer approves it, and the job is created from the document — nothing is retyped.

  • Your registration and VAT numbers sit on every copy.
  • The validity date is on the page, not in an email thread.
  • A deposit is asked for as a deposit, never disguised as a tax invoice.

02

Bill it properly

A tax invoice with the title, both VAT numbers, the 15% split, the amount due and exactly how to pay it. Three designs, your name on every one.

  • PDF on WhatsApp or email, in one tap.
  • Bank details and the reference printed on the document itself.
  • Receipts and credit notes that match the invoice, not a second book.

SBC-0002 · the invoice that follows the quote, paid in full.

03

Get paid, and know it

Proof of payment is matched to the invoice it settles. What is outstanding, what is late, and who to remind — answered on the first screen, before the first call of the day.

  • Reminders queued for day 1, 3, 7 and 14, in English or Afrikaans.
  • Statements per customer, ready before month end.
  • A receipt the moment the money lands.

Straight answers.

Does it work when I have no signal?
Yes. The book lives on your phone and syncs when you are back online. You can quote and invoice on site in a roof void with no bars.
Is it SARS-compliant?
Tax invoices carry the title, both VAT numbers, the 15% split and sequential numbers with no gaps, and records are kept for five years. It is a bookkeeping tool, not a replacement for your accountant — your accountant can export everything.
Do you take a cut of my payments?
No. Money goes straight into your bank account, exactly as it does today. Torin records the proof of payment; it never holds the money.
Can my staff use it?
Yes, with roles. Staff can quote and bill; only the owner can void an invoice, give a discount, restore a backup or delete a customer.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?
You export customers, documents and payments to CSV and PDF before you go. The records are yours; we do not hold them hostage.
